A flock of greater flamingos stands in the shallows of a Camargue étang — the shallow brackish lagoons that define this vast coastal wetland and draw its famous birds in their thousands. Caught mid-pan in a slow shutter sweep, the water dissolves into silver and grey silk beneath them while the birds themselves hover between stillness and motion — some sharply present, others softening at the edges into something closer to impression than document. Their blush-pink plumage and coral legs glow quietly against the cool ground, lending the image an almost porcelain delicacy.
Printed on Fuji Gloss paper, whose luminous surface and rich colour rendition draw out the full subtlety of the pink and grey tonal range. The print is available framed in a choice of Black or Oak with an ivory mount. It is also available unframed.
